1. Product Description

SCQ Tech U630 is a special reducing agent designed for oxidizing substances (e.g. residual chlorine, ozone) in the feed water of ultrafiltration (UF) system. It eliminates oxidizing components through rapid reduction reaction, prevents irreversible oxidizing damage of the membrane element and prolongs the service life of UF membranes, and is suitable for the membrane protection of chlorine-containing disinfection systems, such as municipal water reuse and seawater desalination pre-treatment.

4.Usage and Dosage

Dosage point

After mechanical filter and before activated carbon filter in the pretreatment section of ultrafiltration system, to ensure that the oxidized substances are fully restored;

It is recommended to continuously dosage by metering pump, and dynamically mix with the feed water.

Calculation of dosage

The theoretical dosage ratio is 1 ppm residual chlorine needs 1.3-1.5 ppm reductant, and the actual dosage should be adjusted according to the online monitoring of ORP (oxidation reduction potential).

The target ORP value should be controlled at ≤200 mV (to avoid over-dosage which may cause microbial reproduction). (Avoid over dosage leading to microbial reproduction).

5. Packaging and Storage

25kg polyethylene special plastic drums, stored indoors (25 ℃) in a cool and ventilated place, storage period of 12 months.

6.Safety Protection

When operating, you should carefully read the precautions labeled on the barrel and properly wear safety protection equipment, including rubber gloves and goggles, etc. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, etc. If contacted inadvertently, wash immediately with large amounts of flowing clean water.
