1. Product Description

SCQ Tech F816A is an acidic scale inhibitor designed for reverse osmosis (RO) membrane systems. It inhibits the deposition of inorganic salts such as calcium carbonate and calcium sulfate on the membrane surface through complexation , dispersion, and crystal lattice distortion, and it is suitable for high-hardness, high-salinity water environments, which reduces the risk of membrane contamination and prolongs the cleaning cycle. Its acidic formula (PH 2-4) has the functions of both scale inhibition and moderate dissolution of the generated scale layer, which is suitable for the membrane treatment system in the scenarios of seawater desalination, industrial wastewater reuse and so on.

4.Usage and Dosage

Continuously add to the inlet side of reverse osmosis high pressure pump through metering pump, and mix well with the inlet water; 

The initial dosage is recommended to be 4-5 ppm, which is dynamically adjusted according to the water quality test report.

5.Packing and Storage 

Packing specification: 25kg high density polyethylene drum; 

Storage conditions: stored in a ventilated environment at 5-35℃ away from light, away from alkaline substances, shelf life of 12 months; 

operation protection: Wear acid-resistant gloves, goggles, immediately rinse with water for 15 minutes after contact with skin;

6.Safety Protection 

Carefully read the precautions labeled on the barrel during operation, wear safety protection equipment correctly, including rubber gloves and goggles, etc., and should avoid contact with the skin, eyes, etc., and if contacted inadvertently, need to be rinsed with a large amount of flowing clean water immediately.
