1. Product Description
Compound formulation system, SCQ Tech X016 is a composite corrosion and scale inhibitor developed for open circulating cooling water systems (e.g. cooling towers in metallurgy, chemical and power industries), which inhibits inorganic salt scaling and reduces metal corrosion rate through dual pathways. Its formula integrates organic phosphonic acid, polycarboxylic acid and zinc salt complex, which can realize the dispersion of common scale species such as calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, calcium phosphate and other scale blocking, and at the same time, it forms passivation film on the surface of carbon steel, copper and other equipment, and the rate of corrosion can be reduced to below 0.025mm/a. Suitable for high hardness, high chloride ion (>1000mg/L) and other harsh water environment.

4.Usage and Dosage
Dosing control:
Conventional system: continuous dosage of 8-30mg/L (according to the amount of water replenishment)
High hardness water quality (>400mg/L CaCO₃): need to be increased to 15-40mg/L.
Operation specification
Dosing point: circulating water pump intake or cooling tower pool
Supporting measures: It is recommended to monitor the corrosion data once a month.
5.Packaging and Storage
25kg polyethylene special plastic drums, stored indoors (25 ℃) in a cool ventilated place, storage period of 12 months.
6.Safety Protection
When operating, you should carefully read the precautions labeled on the barrel, wear the correct safety protection equipment, including rubber gloves and goggles, etc., and avoid contact with the skin, eyes, etc., and if accidentally contacted, you need to immediately use a large amount of flowing clean water to wash.
